Who Am I?
I'm Carey Van Driest - aka CVD - and it has always been a passion of mine to create supportive and empowering spaces for women. As a lifelong actor, I started a clothing swap in 2001 and invited five of my closest friends from all different walks of life. That seed of an idea has grown into a community of over forty women celebrating the value of female friendship and the power of clothing to express confidence and personal point of view. The creation of CVD Style was the obvious expansion of that passion. By combining fashion, sustainability, and female advocacy into a one-stop shop, I'm so proud to give back to all the women who inspire me.

I like clothes, and enjoy mixing things up daily, but looking at my current collection with a creative lens keeps me from over-consuming. If there's a piece I know will add value, I look towards thrifting and up-cycling opportunities.
My goal is to show women how to curate a wardrobe that works harder…for less.
